“This nearly 50-year-old, family-friendly tradition brings over 500,000 people to the heart of the Old Pueblo every year. The Fair hosts artists from around the world, decadent food, local entertainment and a lot of fun!
The Fair is produced by the North Fourth Avenue Merchants Association, Inc., a local nonprofit. The funds are used to support the Avenue’s infrastructure, invest in local neighborhoods and other nonprofits, and to create other free community events throughout the year on Historic Fourth Avenue.
“The Tempe Festival of the Arts is a well-loved community event that showcases over 350 artists from around the country. This fall we will celebrate the 50th anniversary of the festival. Celebrate with us on Saturday, December 1st at 3pm, located in the intersection of 5th Street and Mill Avenue as Mayor Mark Mitchell and the founding event producers recognize 50 years of Tempe tradition.”
“MOCA Tucson is excited to celebrate Museum Store Sunday on November 25 with an outdoor holiday market, food trucks, and more! Join us on Cox Plaza for a head start on your holiday shopping. Featuring local makers, designers, and MOCAshop vendors, the holiday market highlights specialty items, and those that are available year-round. MOCA Members can enjoy early-bird access to the market from 10am-12pm. Shoppers can also enjoy the museum for free all day!”
“The Holiday Artisans Market + Street Festival is an annual fundraiser benefitting Tucson’s oldest visual arts institution and a launch into the holiday season in downtown Tucson. Organized by TMA’s Museum Store, the event features almost 150 unique and local artisans with crafts, original artwork, pottery, glass, jewelry, textiles, fine art, and gift items. The event will feature almost 15 concerts on three stages: Corbett Stage, Mooney Stage, and La Cocina Stage, throughout the weekend.
NEW This year’s event features a Kickoff Celebration and Concert on the Corbett Stage from 5 – 7 p.m., on Friday, Nov. 16. The event is free and open to the public, offering late shopping hours, food and beverage for purchase, and a free music concert. The concert headliner is Amor Deluxe, featuring Gabriel Naim Amor on guitar, Thøger Lund on bass, a string section with Ben Nisbet and Samantha Bounkeua, Ben Degain on vibraphone, and Calexico’s John Convertino on drums.”
